The connection between old thing and new things

Everything has connection, especially between the new thing and old thing, I mean the old thing connects the new thing, like our study, if we do not study the beginning of the book, we cannot understand the end of the book, so it has connection. As a student, we must treat the old and new things equally, if we lose the balance between them, the problems will come to us, such as we forget the things that we learnt or we cannot understand the new things.
