Nowadays, many people all around the world speak more than one language or are being taught to speak another language outside of their own. Although sometimes, it may be difficult or stressful to learn another language being bilingual definitely has its advantages. Studies show that by speaking a second language, your attention span will increase and you will also find it easier to multitask when in many situations. Children who are exposed to a language outside of their own tend to adjust better to different changes in the environment. Speaking a second language comes with lots of employment benefits. You are most likely to obtain a job quicker if you are bilingual. This is because workplaces highly value people who are able to communicate with different customers if they speak a different language, other than english. It is important to finish what you started. You will find yourself viewing the world in different ways and will become more open minded towards things. It also comes handy when traveling because it makes it easier to communicate with people, you won't find yourself struggling to answer someone's question.

"One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way."

- Frank Smith
