What Makes Someone A Hero?

Heroes are not just in comic books and movies. They are everywhere. All around us, walking on earth we may not realize it, but heroes make an impact in our daily lives. But what makes someone a hero? A hero is someone who is courageous and isn't afraid to stand up for something they believe in. Someone who has impacted the world and made a difference in someone's life. A strong leader that is a good role model for everyone. A person that always puts others first before themselves.

Some people might say that a hero is someone who risks their own self and puts their life in danger just to save others. Heroes come in many different shapes and forms. Doing good deeds and making a difference is usually their task.

An example of a hero who has made a huge impact on people and in the world is Rosa Parks. She was an important activist in the civil rights movement. Known for not giving up her seat to a white man on the bus, she stood up for what she believed in. Equal rights for people of colour and has made a difference till this day. The United States Congress has called her "the first lady of civil rights" and "the mother of the freedom movement"due to the grand impact she has made.
