Should NCAA Athletes Get Paid For Playing Sports?

The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) is an association where most athletes across the United States play sports. It is an non-profit organization, that makes students play for them and they do not earn any sort of money. This has been a topic that has been very popular for the last couple of years now because all these athletes that are playing for this organization are earning money for it thorough tournaments like March Madness and the College Football Playoff and are not earning anything. These tournaments are earning millions of dollars advertising it and all the money goes to them.

This is not to say that all the money that goes through this organization should go to athletes, but some of the money should because without these athletes, the NCAA would not earn any money. In my own opinion, I feel that the athletes that should be earning the money are the ones that got recruited or scouted to go to those colleges and play for them. It makes the most sense because those colleges wanted them to go there.

The money that should earning should not be nowhere close to what they would make if they made it professional, they should earned maybe a couple 100 thousands or maybe even a million for the best player. They should even have agreement for the players that could make them attend the college that they are at for free. The NCAA should really take this topic into consideration because it is not fair to make these players play for them, and them not earning sort of recognition.
