“This is like one of my biggest pet peeves. It was kind of a first date from hell.” said Brandon Vezmar, a Texas man who has decided to sue an unnamed woman after accusing her of texting in the theatre during their movie date.
Brandon has filed a lawsuit against the woman for $17.31, the price of a ticket to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 in 3D. Brandon said he had met the woman online, and gone with her to see the movie for their first date on may 6, 2017. Apparently, 15 minutes into the movie, the woman began texting on her phone during the movie. After asking his date to stop using her phone, he told he that she should leave the theatre if she wanted to text someone. The woman did just that and left the theatre, driving home in her car and leaving Brandon stranded. A few days after this, Brandon asked for the money back that he had spent on her ticket to which she refused.
What do you think? Is this person completely over reacting? Or does someone texting in a movie theater drive you absolutely crazy too? Especially when someone is texting in the middle of a REALLY GOOD movie like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2? Let us know what you think below!
