This has been a very popular topic around the sports community within the past few years and this is starting to become a serious issue. Three out of the four major american sports have a super team and that is not really considered to be fair. Buying a super is basically having all these decent players on your team and then adding a superstar talent on the team to make the team even better. In the NHL, there is a team that is considered to be a super team and that team is the Pittsburgh Penguins. The way they formed their super team was that they traded to get a really good player in Phil Kessel when they already had a superstar in Sidney Crosby. With this super team, they won the Stanley Cup in 2016 and it seems like they are on their way to win it again in 2017. In the MLB, the team that is considered to be a super team is the Cleveland Indians. They were on route to win the World Series going to finals, but they blew a 3-1 lead to the Chicago Cubs. They were one win away of winning the whole thing, but the luck was not going their way. So during that off season, they decided to sign 3x All Star and RBI leader Edwin Encarnacion, which was suppose to make their team 100x better. Right now they are doing decent, sitting in the wild card spot.

Lastly in NBA, the team that is considered to be the super team is the Golden State Warriors. The Golden State Warriors were already considered to be a super team, beating the record for the most wins in a regular season in NBA history having 73 wins in one season. They accomplished this feat by having 2x MVP Stephen Curry on their team along with two other allstars, in Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. They were not only good this past season, but they won the championship in 2015. In 2016, they went against the Cleveland Cavaliers once again and they almost won the finals blowing a 3-1 lead against them. One game away from back to back championships proves that you are a really good team. Now, just this past offseason, since they lost in the NBA finals, they decided that they needed to make their team better, so they went ahead and got 2008 Rookie of The Year, 2014 MVP, 8x Allstar, 4x Scoring Champion and 7x All-NBA Team in Kevin Durant. Now, this team is stacked and they have two of the top seven players in the NBA on their team and they also have two really good allstars as well. This season they are on their way to way another championship with all these good players on the team.
